She is survived by: her parents, Mike Hull and Vicki Hull (Imhausen); her husband Tarl Vaughn; her sister Dawn Hull Staples; her nieces and nephews, Cooper Staples, Lincoln Staples, MaKenzie Staples, Conner Bradley, Liam Vaughn, Jax Bradley, Colt Brandley, A. J. Bradley and Ainsley Bradley; and her pet Bernie.

While flowers are welcomed, memorial contributions may be made in Melanie's memory to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
