She was predeceased by: her parents, Wava Marie Carpenter and Deo Russell Forbes; her husband Roy C. Yates Sr.; and her son Roy C. Yates, Jr. (Julie). She is survived by: her brother James; her children, Bruce (Betsy), Robin, Russell (Elise) and Robert (Anne); her grandchildren, Katie, Andrew (Barb), Caroline (Adam), Dustin, Madison (Efra), Jennifer, Laura (Dan), Jon (Ulyana) and Allison; her great grandchildren, Luella, Piper, Charles, Victor, Nina, Paige and Margaret; her nieces, Kathy, Colleen, Gail and Beth; and her nephew Brian.
