She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alley and Dessie Alley; her brothers, James Alley and Thomas Alley; and her grandson Brian Coulter.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Coulter of Plainfield; her children, Jeffery Coulter (Ruth) of Greenwood, Richard D. Coulter (Connie) of Vincennes, Kem Coulter (Susan) and Rhonda Coulter (William Schlosser) of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Matthew Coulter (Ali), Laura Crow (Phil), Camela Coulter, Danie Adams (Dylan), Meghan Nelson (Erik), Joel Coulter (Judith), Andrew Coulter, Wendy Wagoner, Nicholas Wagoner, Rachel Kerschner (Mike) and Christie Clayton (Zach); and her great grandchildren, A. J., Dean, Elise Coulter, Ian, Brynn Coulter, Austin Camden, Myla Crow, Taylor Fuller, Ethan, Sawyer Wagoner, Isabella, Adelynn, Jonathan Kerschner, Lilianna Coulter, Malia Clayton and Annabelle Adams.
Martha's final act of service to others is the participation in further dementia research with the Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis.
