It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malcolm Shonkwiler (Zionsville, Indiana), who passed away on November 4, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Shonkwiler and Mary Elizabeth "Hood" Shonkwiler; his wife Norma Gardener Shonkwiler; his siblings, Marshall Shonkwiler and Clema Shonkwiler Perkins; his son Daniel 'Dan' Shonkwiler; and his parents-in-law, Harold Alcorn, Glenn Scaggs, Carole McGabe, Marilyn Plackner (Bill) and Paul Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Teri Lynn Stisher (Mickey) of Zionsville, David Lee Shonkwiler of Indianapolis, Mark Alan Shonkwiler (Jeanette) of Trafalgar and Richard Dale Shonkwiler of Greenwood; his sisters, Joan Alcorn of Groveland, Bessie Loisdene Reeves (Bill) of Greencastle and Roberta Geneieve Scaggs of Greencastle; his grandchildren, Shauna Mullins (Aaron), Lyndee Stisher, Clinton Shonkwiler, Joel Mizer, Brooke Shonkwiler, Phillip Shonkwiler, Jenna Shonkwiler, Allison Weaver (Mitch), Levi Shonkwiler and Lacy Baker (Nick); his great grandchildren, Phillip, Tera, Lexi, Eli, Oliver, Marcus, Axl, Kane and Killian; and his parents-in-law, Mary Shonkwiler, Bill Perkins and Shirley Gardner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
