She was predeceased by: her mother Nancy "Nin"; and her grandmother Justina. She is survived by: her husband Al Merz; her children, Dan (Nicole), Callie and Allyse; her grandchildren, Ian and Evelyn; her father Charlie (Harriet); her sisters, Carol, Anne (Michael) and Shari (Scott); and her nephews, Trey (Shandi) and Chad.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Save the Children or the American Diabetes Association, two of Justina's favorite charities.
