With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Scott of Zionsville, Indiana, born in Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on September 27, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Long and Ruth Long; her spouse Gayle "Scotty" Scott; and her brothers, Jim Long and Don Long.

She is survived by: her children, Tim of Kokomo, Greg (Christine) of Tucson, Steve of Zionsville and Kathy Smith (Dave) of Monrovia; her grandchildren, Alison Hankins (Justin), Lisa Smith, Andrea Smith, David Smith, Danielle Moon (Larry), Ashley Jean Scott, Ashley Diane McCoy (Eric) and Krystal Guerrero (Alex); her great grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Zachary Smith, Elias Smith, Draven Smith, Anthony Moon, Jaselynn Moon, Eden Kathleen McCoy, Ashley Anne Moon and Faith Nicole Hankins; her brothers, Richard Long (Donna) and Max Long (Patricia); her daughter-in-law Kathleen Nifong Scott; and her great grandchildren, Hope Hankins and Benjamin Edward Hankins.
