She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Schroeder; her son John J Schroeder of New Port Richey, FL.; and her parents, John Pauchnik and Hertha Pauchnik (Bathe). She is survived by: her children, Sherrie L. Howell (Norbert) of St. Louis, MO, Debra A. McKinney (Greg) of Crossville, TN, Cynthia M. Schroeder of Fishers, IN and Jeffrey J. Schroeder (Irasema) of Chula Vista, CA; her sister Mary Mess (Willard); her niece Laura Gaudynski (Jerry); and her nephew Steve Mess (Thersea) of Milwaukee. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
