It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Lee Nidiffer of Zionsville, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nidiffer and Anna Nidiffer (Bast); his wife Miriam (Sutton); and his brother Charles (Dick). He is survived by: his children, Michael (Karen) and Beth Toney (Scott); his stepson Dominic Sutton (Becky); his sister Dixie Gray; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Steve, Nathan, Alicia, Matthew, Luke, Austin, Jacob, Anna, Michael and Jack. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

“I graduated from Adams in South Bend in 1961. While at Adams I ran track (also the 880) and occasionally got a third or fourth place. Obviously I was for behind Jim in the races. I recently had the chance to reconnect with Jim over the Internet and enjoyed the conversation. His passing is too soon and I trust that Jim’s family will be sustained by the care of friends and the many memories of his life with them. He was a treasured classmate and one to be proud of.
