She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McKibben and Helen McKibben (Mewhinney); her sister Margaret "Peg" Reid (George); and her son Michael. She is survived by: her husband George W. Higgins; her daughters, Kathleen Fon (Lawrence), Maureen Senour (Stephen), Coleen, Eileen Higgins and Megeen (Terry) of Washington; her grandchildren, Emily, Wendy, Sally, Betsy, George and Patrick; and her great grandchildren, Amy, Amber, Kaleb, James, Eli, Addison and Alex.
