He is survived by : his wife Lauren Kling; his children, Briana Clark (Harry) and Brendan Kovac (Debbie); his brother John Kovac (Carolyn); his mother-in-law Doris Kling; his sisters-in-law, Carol Kovac and Lisa Whetstone (Don); and his nieces and nephews, Steven Kovac (Ben Pilcher), David Kovac (Tiffany), Natalie Kovac, Allison Kovac, Elena Kovac, Rebecca Kovac, Kristin Kessler (Jordan) and Alyssa Whetstone.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Flanner and Buchanan (105 W Pine St, Zionsville, IN 46077). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Zionsville Cemetery (10555 Zionsville Rd, Zionsville, IN 46077).

George received word that I had run out of fuel, more than once in my company car with a company credit card. Rightfully so, he took the opportunity to embarrass me by creating and presenting me with the inaugural Running On Empty Award at a company function. The tank is long gone. I still have the placard.
