Fredrick C. Basham Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2020, at the age of 66, Fredrick C. Basham of Zionsville, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marilyn (Knowles) and John R. Basham, Sr.; his wife Cynthia; his children, Ryan Basham (Jennifer) of Plainfield, Jessica Leman (Darin) of Towanda, IL and Brooke Escobar (Tony) of Morton, IL; his stepchildren, Steve Gauger (Elena) of Powell, OH and Jennifer Gauger (David) of Zionsville; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Beau Basham, Ashlyn, Duncan Hunley, Ethan, William, Micah, Hannah, Haven Leman, Evangeline, Cruz, Luca Escobar, Susha Karchenko, Michelle Cool and Annelise Pluimer; and his siblings, John Basham (Connie) of Lafayette and Connie Hannah (Ed) of Greentown. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Due to current COVID restrictions, an immediate family only celebration of Fred's life will be held at 1:00 p. m. Sunday, December 13, 2020 followed by a drive-by visitation past the front steps of the Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston (101 West 4th Street, Brookston) from 2-4 p. m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly insists donations be made the Jasper or White County Food Pantries or a charity of the donor's choice directed toward feeding the communities needy.
