She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Black and Edna Black (Sims). She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Newby; her children, Kevin R. Newby (Gail) of Westfield, IN, Kathy L. Newby Crouch (Kevin) of Nashville, IN and Karla A. Newby Burkett (David) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Natosha, Nathan, Joshua, Ashley, Marylynn, Melissa, Brad, Seth, Benjamin, Breanna, Madison and Abigail; and her sister Linda G. "Kay" Black Moore (Warren) of Riverview, FL.. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
