He was predeceased by: his parents, Olvin Medalen and Margaret Medalen. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Scott B. Medalen (Tina) and Brett A. Medalen (Mindy); his grandchildren, Kendyl, Avery Medalen, Jenna, Jessa, Jake and Jules Medalen; and his sisters, Betty Foster and Marcia Garner.
