He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Bertha; and his siblings, Paul, Harold, Ruth Ann and Roland.
He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Barnes; and his sons, David (Peggy), Mark (Karen) and Paul (Jennie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
