She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Jones and Erma Jones of French Lick, IN.; her husband Michael Shafer; and her sisters, Sondra Hancock (Ernie) and Faith Jones (Dwight).

She is survived by: her daughter Rachel Vining (Aaron); and her granddaughter Camilla Vining. She is also survived by her family and friends.
