She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mitchell and Laura Mitchell; and her brother Henry Mitchell III. She is survived by: her son Oliver Nelson Jr. (Sharon); and her sister Yvonne Hodges. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
