Verba Doughty Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verba Doughty (Yorktown, Indiana), who passed away on April 6, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Doughty and Hazel Doughty; his sisters, Margaret, Vivian, Betty, Rosemary and Beloved; and his stepdaughter Cindy Vannice.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Linda Jones, Judy Moffatt (Bob), Verba Doughty Jr., Michael Doughty, Ila Simers, Diana Sayer, Jeffery Doughty (Drey) and Joseph Doughty; his great great grandchild His; his siblings, Alta Renner, George Doughty, Floyd Doughty, Bill Doughty, Ferrell Doughty and Jack Doughty; and also Josh Curts. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 Great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in memory of Verba to the Indiana University Health/Hospice or the Indiana University Health/Cancer Center, both at 2401 West University Ave. Muncie, IN 47303.
