The passing of Norma Warfel of Yorktown, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Rushton and Vergie Rushton; her husband Elmer Warfel; and her siblings, Ella Stokes, Geneva Hahn, Delores Renner, Glendora Hollis, Helen Gray, ClaraBelle Estep, Vivian Rushton, Frank, Earl and Robert Rushton.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Simpson (William) of Anderson and Robert Warfel of Yorktown; her grandchildren, Stephanie Chalfant of Muncie and Steven Tanner of Yorktown; and her great grandchildren, Austin Meinhardt (Mackenzie), Jayden Montgomery, Jaelyn Montgomery and Bradyn Tanner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel (2215 S Broadway St, Yorktown, IN 47396). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel (2215 S Broadway St, Yorktown, IN 47396).
