He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Childs; his children, Debra Turner and Jerald Childs (Beth); his grandchildren, Alex Childs of Carmel, Adam Childs of Muncie, Aubrey Turner of Indianapolis and Anna Ritz (Colton) of Anderson; and his sisters-in-law, Marjorie Childs and Karin Berg. He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
