It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James R. Owens of Yorktown, Indiana, born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Owens (Brewsaugh) and Harry A. Owens; and his cousins, James Reed and Robert Reed. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Owens (Gross); his daughters, Amy A. Hans (Timothy Hans) and Ellen S. Owens Karcsay (Robb Karcsay); his grandchild Jamie McQuillin (Joe); his daughters, Gage and Jada Hans of Noblesville, IN; and his siblings, Carol E. Pickron of Perry, FL, Kathryn Sue Slaughter of Perry, FL and Harry M. Owens.
A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the health concerns of family and friends regarding the COVID crisis at this time.
