Jack Gettinger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Gettinger (Yorktown, Indiana), born in Portland, Indiana, who passed away on August 27, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlo Gettinger and Mabel Gettinger (Jessup); and his siblings, William, Robert Gettinger, Phyllis Horstman and Judith Ledbetter.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Gettinger (Wirts); his children, Jack Gettinger II of Yorktown and Jill Wilson (James Sanders) of Yorktown; his grandson Nathaniel Wilson of Muncie; and his sisters, Wanda Brochin (Al) of Troy, OH and Dixie Amstutz of Decatur. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Forest Park Church of the Nazarene, 2105 W. Memorial Dr., Muncie, IN 47302 or to a charity of the donor's choice in memory of Jack.
