He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Leola Florence Reed (Howell) and Havey Washington Reed. He is survived by: his wife Leeta Ruth Reed (Gilreath); and his children, Vicki Lynn Myers of Bloomington and Jim De Wayne Reed (Lakes). He is also survived by His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions to the Cammack Methodist Church under the name of Jim Reed may be offered.
