He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Nichols and Geneva Nichols; his brother Bobby Nichols; his brother-in-law Richard Howe; and his nephew David Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Nola Nichols; his children, Pamela Beeman (Michael) and Jackie Barnett; his stepson Jeff Deetz; his grandchildren, Missy Godwin (Rob), Angie Coleman (Rob) and Mika Roach; his stepgrandchildren, Kenneth, Michelle and Lisa Deetz; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Godwin, Katelynn Godwin, Kayla Godwin, Austin Godwin, Jordan Coleman, Gabriel Coleman, Alyssa Roach and Wyatt Roach; his sister Myrnajean Howe; his nephew Richard Howe; and his niece Theresa Hoffer (David).
