He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert N. Oren and Ella Oren (Coons); and his siblings, Howard, Herbert "Jack" Oren and Frances Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Oren (Sallee); his children, Cheryl Ann Oren of Indianapolis, Eric Lee Oren (Laurie Barker) of Anderson and Erin Jay Oren (Andrea Amos) of Pendleton; his grandchildren, Brooke Greer (Jason), Baylee, Karlie, Morgan and Mackenzie Oren; and his great grandchildren, Hallie, Abigail Greer and Kingston Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
