He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Calvert, Sr. and Anna Calvert (McAdams); his wife Delores Ann Calvert (Wilbur); and his sisters, O'Rilla T. Jackson, Rosemary McKee and Wanda Burch.

He is survived by: his son Leonard Dwayne Calvert of Linton; and his grandchildren, Brandon (Stacy Calvert) of Jasonville, Bralyn Calvert and Kaylee Calvert.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Worthington Jefferson Alumni Association through the funeral home.
