Jerry Lee Newsom Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 81, Jerry Lee Newsom of Worthington, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Newsom and Geneva Newsom (Scott); his wife Jacqueline Sue Newsom (Calvert); and his brother Larry Newsom. He is survived by: his daughters, Chantel (Steve Carpenter) and Ingrid (Stacey Hill); his grandsons, Trent Carpenter (Alysa), Trey Carpenter, Cade Hill (Nicole) and Conner Hill; his great grandchildren, Hadley Carpenter, Bria Hill, Brenna Hill and Brantley Hill; and his sister Delea Dinsmore.

A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home (23 S Jefferson St, Worthington, IN 47471).
