He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Gallmeyer and Selma Gallmeyer (Neff); and his brother Roger Gallmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patti" Gallmeyer of Woodburn, Indiana; his children, Jennifer Sorg (Roy) of Hoagland, Indiana, Stacy Frick (Jeremy) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Michael Gallmeyer of Woodburn, Indiana; his brothers, Byron Gallmeyer (late Susan) of Hoagland, Indiana, Jeff Gallmeyer (Brenda) of Roanoke, Indiana and Kurt Gallmeyer (Tammy) of Springfield, Ohio; his granddaughters, Emily Sorg, Erica Sorg, Gabriella Frick and Isabella Frick; and his siblings, Carolyn Minick (late Robert) of Woodburn, Indiana, Dr. Thomas Gibson (late Sarah) of Muncie, Indiana and Steven Gibson (Deb) of Woodburn, Indiana..
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (12912 Franke Rd, Monroeville, IN 46773).
Preferred memorials can be given to St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock or Woodburn Christian Children's Home.
