He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hoeppner and Alice Hoeppner (Oberlin); and his mother-in-law Arlene Bellinger. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Justin Hoeppner (Amanda), Jessica Schroeder (Carl) and Sally Strautman (Jared); his father-in-law Norm Bellinger; his siblings, Sue Ehle (John), Bob Hoeppner (Nancy), Dick Hoeppner (Naomi) and Brian Hoeppner (Karen); and his grandchildren, Luke, Jack, Bailey, Faith, Max, Colten, Simon and Eva.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn Lutheran School or Parkview Foundation (for brain cancer patients) or to plant a tree in honor of Norm.
