She was predeceased by: her father Donald McDonnell Sr.; and her sisters, Judith Hamilton and Carolyn Brock. She is survived by: her husband Kevin; her mother Wilma McDonnell; her sons, Nolan (Amanda Tressler) and Shea Richhart (Amanda); her siblings, Deborah Fritz (Ronald), David (Tami) and Raymond McDonnell (Terri); and her grandson Dax Richhart.
