She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Helmke and Mary Helmke (Gebers); her husband Rod Baeske; and her siblings, Lawrence, Harold, Ernst, Virgil Helmke, Beulah Doehrman, Lillian Magnuson and Esther Placek.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Johnson of New Haven, Barry Baeske (Paula) of Fort Wayne, Dale Baeske (Linda) of Fort Wayne and Darla Lumpkin (John) of Lagro. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
