She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Sr. Gerig and Waneta Gerig; and her brother Terry Gerig. She is survived by: her husband Melvin T. Downs; her children, Michelle Todd (Brent) of Westfield and Brad Downs (Kendra) of Woodburn; her siblings, Les, Dean, Randy, Dennis and Gloria Clayton; and her grandchildren, Alex, Emma Dieckmeyer, Mason and Madisen Downs.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harper's Community Funeral Home (740 IN-930, New Haven, IN 46774). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
