He is survived by: his wife Barb Gordon (Kortum); his children, Shelly Beard (Ben Beard), Chris Gordon (Danielle Lackey), Tim Gordon and Dr. Jean Hitchcock; his grandchildren, Joshua Beard, Jason Beard (Lourdes), Grey Gordon, Ethan Gordon, Jake Gordon, Daniel Lackey (Danielle Oberly) and Chloé Moncada; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Brayson, Bennett, TJ and Myla; his sister Beverly (Joe Allen); his nieces, Abbie and Amber; his siblings-in-law, Carol and Richard Schust; his nephew Barry Schust; and his nieces, Beth Nieter (Dan), Belinda Losher (Tom) and Brenda Heisler (Troy).
Due to safety concerns from COVID-19, a celebration of life service will be planned for a later date.
