We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2024, at the age of 83, Richard G. Schaefer (Wolcottville, Indiana), born in Valley City, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Schaefer and Carol Schaefer (Bernard); his brother Tom Schaefer; and his son-in-law Jeff Moore. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Schaefer of Blackman Lake; his children, Janet Moore of Fort Wayne, Rick Schaefer and Douglas Schaefer (Kim) of Blackman Lake; and his siblings, Patricia Carlin (John) of Florida and John "Jack" Schaefer (Cortney) of Ohio. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Preferred memorials are to Parkview Noble Home Health and Hospice or to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
