He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Blair Sims and Sondra Glenora Taylor; and his wife Peggy Sue Sims. He is survived by: his son Matthew Sims (Toni) of Fort Wayne, IN; his siblings, Sharisse Cabrera (Charlie) of Elk Grove, CA, Diana Smith (Robin) of Wolcottville, IN, Jim Sims (Missy) of Fort Wayne, IN, June Hembree (William) of Aurora, MO and Lori Pelt (Hank) of Lakeland, FL; and his grandchildren, Maddi, Keegan, Makiah, Kaylor, Chris, Aaron and Nick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
