He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Arnold Wooten and Maxine Taylor (Lash); his wife Ann Wooten; and his brother Gary Wooten. He is survived by: his children, Rachel Schenher of Fort Wayne, Aimee Howard (Ronnie) of Topeka, Holly Wooten (Darrel Button) of Rome City and Wyatt Wooten (Dawn) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his stepson Greg Klett (Melissa) of Kentucky; and his siblings, Theresa Guenin (Marc) of Kendallville, Margery Taylor of Wolcottville, Sandy Cox (Greg) of Kendallville, Michael Wooten (Marcia) of Wawaka, Randy Wooten (Brenda) of Ashley and Steve Wooten (Arlene) of Coldwater, Michigan.. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Young Family Funeral Home (100 Cemetery St, Wolcottville, IN 46795). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Noble County.
