He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gallup and Josephine Gallup (Frick); and his nephew Martin Meyers. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Gallup of Wolcottville; his children, Angela Baker of Goshen and Jeffrey Gallup (Teri) of Wolcottville; his grandchildren, Gracie Gallup, Aiva Gallup, Christopher Hawk (Carmen) and Katelyn Shide (Nicholas); his great grandchildren, Sophia Hawk, Layton Hawk, Harrison Hawk, Lincoln Shide and Bennett Shide; his siblings, Barb Chandler (James) of Fort Wayne, Deborah Kerr (Michael) of Indianapolis and Philip Gallup (Kathy) of Fort Wayne; and his nieces, Cindy Shepherd (Arnold), Penny Flesh (Tony), Julie Richardson (Jon) and Mindy Tinsley.
