He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Funk. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Funk; his children, William Funk of Hamilton, Rebecca Hillier of Kendallville and Timothy Funk of Arvada, Colorado; his grandchildren, Dustin Hillier, Brittney Hillier of Angola, Desiree Hillier of Kendallville and Airman Travis Funk; his great grandchildren, Sydnee Hillier and Maddux Hillier; his siblings, Sharon Wilsey of Westler Lake, Wolcottville and Lynn Funk of New Haven; and his child Masses.

Memorial donations may be made to Riley Hospital for Children or to Masses.
