With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmetta Slone of Wolcottville, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woots Terry and Nannie Terry (Gayheart); her husband Austin Slone; her grandchildren, Brian Austin Slone, David Slone and Valerie Murphy; and her siblings, Bonnie Jean Ritchie, Patty Sturgill and Silas Terry.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Weyer (Steven) of South Bend, Vince Slone of Battle Creek, Joey Slone of Howe and Bobby Slone of Orrville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jeremy Weyer, Tammy Williams, Cindy Slone, Maggie Rider and Melissa Murphy; and her siblings, Shirley Dobson of Wawaka and Henderson Terry (Darlene) of Wawaka. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Ark Animal Sanctuary or Parkview LaGrange Hospice, both in LaGrange.
