He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman E. Cassel and Doris B. Cassel (Clark); and his brother-in-law Scott Blaize. He is survived by: his wife Barb Cassel of Wolcottville; his children, Marshall Joseph "Joe" Cassel (Jessica) of LaGrange, Margaret E. Edwards (Jeremy) of Auburn and Marlee D. Prior (Nathan) of Sturgis; his grandchildren, Austin Collins, Jade Frye, Braeden Cassel, Hunter Frye, Austin Edwards and Callen Cassel; his siblings, Norman J. Cassel (Rita) of Greensboro, Dale Cassel (Marina) of Sturgis, Michigan and Pat Blaize of Kendallville; and his half-sister Sue Ann Collier (Howard) of Ellettsville.
