He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rhule and Lena Mae Retterbush (Kraus); his wife Patricia M. Adlard; his son Joseph Retterbush; and his brother Jack A. Retterbush.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Grunkemeyer of Piqua, Kathy Grise of Piqua and Susan Cheney (Craig) of Piqua; his grandchildren, Kyle Grunkemeyer (Pam Yount), Trenton Grunkemeyer (Katelyn), Ethan Grunkemeyer, Sarah Grunkemeyer, Samantha Grise, Alexis Grise, Lena Grise, Hannah Went, Claire Went, Kara Went, Quintin Bender, Tatum Retterbush and Brooke Retterbush; his great grandchildren, Liam, Noah, Xavier, Hendrix, Autumn, Aleah and Jack; and his daughter-in-law Beth Retterbush of Lake Oliver, Indiana. He is also survived by his loving family and many friends.
