It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Smith of Wolcott, Indiana, born in Woodbury, Tennessee, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray, Sr. Bryson and Brightie Bell Bryson; his daughter Karen Dubea; and his siblings, Marvin Smith, Charles Smith, William Smith and Nora Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Collins Needham; his children, Kathy Husman of Lafayette, IN, Kim Krejci (Rick) of Stevensville, Montana and Mike Smith (Charmin) of Brookston, IN.; and his siblings, Ray Smith, Jr. of Remington, IN, Jerry Smith (Julie) of Rossville, Pauline Brower of Remington, IN, Joann McDonald (Bud) of Naples, FL and Betty Barlow (Ronnie) of Francesville, IN.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
