He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heinzelman and Rosa Heinzelman (Nussbaum). He is survived by: his children, Peggy Meyer, Lou Anne Blanchette of Wolcott and George Heinzelman; his grandchildren, Beth, Mallory, Kacy, Kari and Angel; and his child Welfare Foundation.

Memorials may be made in Frank's name to the Fisher House (to benefit military families) or the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation.
