He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John R. Widmer and Rosa Widmer (Frieden); his siblings, Walter and Mary Engelage; his wife Gladys Kropf; his children, Laurel Widmer and Neal Widmer (Kris); his grandchildren, John (Brooke), Bradley (Amber), Blake (Tashi), Matthew (Tamara) and Katie Gerber (Matthew); and his pet Micki.
