He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Foster (Haynes); his parents, Annabell Foster and Arthur Foster; and his siblings, Mettie Rhodes, Raymond Arthur Foster, Isaac "Ike" Foster, James E. Foster, Gary K. Foster (Carol), Gene Foster, Charles Foster, Dan Foster and Jack Foster.
He is survived by: his son David Foster (Winnie) of Petersburg; his grandchildren, Abbi Brooks (Tanner) of Evansville, Jacob Foster (Amber) of Princeton, Samuel Theising of Petersburg and Isaac Theising of Petersburg; his great grandchild Benjamin Asa Brooks of Evansville; and his sisters, Sharon Smith (Leon Speth) of Vincennes, Suzanne Tapley of Vincennes and Sandy Greentree of Bicknell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (705 Walnut St, Petersburg, IN 47567). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Ashby Cemetery.
