He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver Bolin and Laura Bolin (Henson); his siblings, Judy Bolin, Ronnie "Butch" Bolin, John Wesley, Donald Eugene, Jackie David and Ray; his nephews, Steven Bolin and Donald Eugene Bolin, Jr.; and his niece Bobbie Jo Bolin.
He is survived by: his wife Mara Bolin (Patton); his children, Bambi Shelton (Sam), Timothy Bolin (Sandra) and Tiffany King (Kevin); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Disney (Christian) and Jacob Bolin (Kelly); and his siblings, Nina McCandless (Lee) and Bob Bolin (Peggy). He is also survived by grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
