She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hill and Josephine Hill; her husband Robert J. Russell; her siblings, Kay Matteson, Robert Hill and James "Tink" Hill; her stepson Mark Russell; and her granddaughter Melissa Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Masha Murray (Brenda Tucker); her grandchildren, Jason Russell (Rachel), Brandee Mehringer (Chad), Mark Russell (Angel), Tenaya Murray (Redwon Wahid), Michelle White and Zeffrey West; her brother Gordon Hill; and her nephew Michael Murray (Bridget).
