He is survived by: his wife Edna Wheeler Gatwood; his children, James (Melissa Gatwood), Jeff Gatwood of Georgia, Stacey (Adam Blanks) and Kristi (Randy Dill); and his grandchildren, Taylor Gatwood, John A., Drew, Maci, Caleb Gatwood, Jonathan, Gabriel, Dayne Blanks, Alek, Adam and River Dill.
