With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eula Mae Hughes of Winslow, Indiana, who passed away on June 5, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Cooper and Georgie Cooper (Williams); her husband Howard Hughes; her brother Joe Cooper (Helena); her son-in-law Richard Bailey; her niece Rita Morrisey; her great-nephew Brian Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Leonard Hughes (Herman Bass) and Doris Bass (Maralou Hughes).
She is survived by: her daughter Diana Bailey; her grandchildren, Cary Bailey (Cathy) and Melissa Koger (Scott); her great grandchildren, Laci Dillard (Brian), Zachary Young (Cierra) and Michael Bailey; her great great grandchildren, Paige Schatz, Paiton Smith and Reece Smith; and her brother-in-law Jesse Hughes (Sue). She is also survived by 6 nieces; 2 nephews; and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Spurgeon Cemetery.
