Darell McDowell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2020, at the age of 73, Darell McDowell (Winslow, Indiana), born in Oakland City, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. McDowell and Golda McDowell (Faries); and his mother-in-law Virgina Gootee (Ginger). He is survived by: his wife Robin; his children, Kaylee Bronson (Robert), Jacklynn Worley (Christopher), James McDowell, Marie Bently (Steven), Ashley Wallace (Calab), Joseph Egan (Nicole) and Josh Pruden (Sheena); his grandchildren, Selena, Hannah, Savannah, Ellen, Joseph, Evan, Amber, Serenity, Anthony and Gabriel; his siblings, Wayne McDowell (Donna), James McDowell, Sharon McDowell and Joann Mason (John); his father-in-law George Gootee; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Gootee (Jaye) and Leslie Gootee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
