She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Shedd and Alice Shedd (Taylor); her husband Eugene Curry; and her brothers, Arthur Glenroy Shedd and Allen Shedd.
She is survived by: her sisters, Pauline Shedd of Winona Lake, IN, Rhoda (Clif) and Palmer of Warsaw, IN; and her sister-in-law Shirley Shedd of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by one niece and four nephews, as well as 12 great-nieces and five great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Verna has requested that memorial donations be directed to Grace Village Retirement Community, 337 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake, IN 46590.
